TBT's Doorstep pick-up service policies
Our policies have been made in collaboration with your homeowner's association (HOA), apartment complex management, or Management Company as applicable by local and state laws. Your agreement to follow these policies is necessary to participate in the Tampa Bay Trash Doorstep Trash pickup service. Our policies (other than privacy policy) are subject to change. You will be alerted if any policy change affects your service from Tampa Bay Trash.
The staff of Tampa Bay Trash, LLC will keep your information private. We promise that your privacy will never be jeopardized whenever you use our site. Tampa Bay Trash, LLC will never share, sell, or rent any of the information we receive about you, unless we have your explicit, written consent.
Personal information such as your name, address, e-mail, phone numbers, and credit card details are utilized by Tampa Bay Trash, LLC strictly for the purpose of fulfilling your order(s).
We never share this information with outside parties except if it is necessary to complete that order. An example of this would be our debit / credit card payment processor, Chase Bank USA, N.A. and Payments Gateway Merchant Banking. The only exception to this Privacy Policy is if the personal information we have collected about a customer is subpoenaed by a law enforcement agency.

We collect your contact information, including, but not limited to, addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and financial information. Collected information is used for the benefit of Tampa Bay Trash to send information to customers about orders, about our company and to send promotional material. - Timing is important! Depending on your particular pickup schedule, place sealed bagged trash by your front door before 6 p.m. To eliminate safety hazards and neighbor complaints, do not leave your bag(s) out overnight. Your trash valet will collect your garbage as early as possible and always before the end of your scheduled pickup.
- Bag Size Limits: Please remember that Tampa Bay Trash cannot pick up any bag larger than 20-gallon size.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancel your Tampa Bay Trash service via e-mail (billing@tampabaytrash.com) or by calling 813-447-3608. Cancellations must be done when you give notice vacate. Please allow us 30 days to process your request. Tampa Bay Trash LLC reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due monthly in advance of service. Auto-pay enables automatic payments every month to be made from your credit card or checking account. We proudly accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Cards. We also accept e-checks made payable to Tampa Bay Trash. Customers will be charged $35 for any checks returned due to insufficient funds.
- Extra bags of trash: We know it happens! Occasionally you will have that one extra bag of trash which we will gladly pickup for you. If you know you're going to have more than a few extra bags due to a special occasion, i.e.: moving in/out, party, spring cleaning then please simply call 813-447-3608 or e-mail billing@tampabaytrash.com and we will put you in our schedule. Should you have large or odd shaped items we will arrange Special Occasion Service pricing.
- Bulk Item/Special Occasion Services: Just call us 48 hours ahead of time or fill out a form to schedule a Special Occasion garbage pickup. Please estimate how many bags (15-20 gallon size) of trash and recyclables you expect. This service is designed for move-in or move-out days, spring-cleaning, parties, big game days, etc. We can pick up any day, but charge $15 extra for pickups on weekends or days outside our published service schedule for your community we can pick up large/ odd-shaped items such as sofas, mattresses, chairs, shelving, etc. Special dump and transportation fees may apply, depending on agreements your community has with waste haulers. You do not need to be in one our service plans to use Special Occasions service. Please call us at 813-447-3608 or contact us right now to schedule your service today!
- Bagging Recyclables: Paper products should be bagged separately from commingled recyclables. Paper products accepted vary by waste collection vendor, but typically include cardboard (flattened and folded), newspapers, magazines, office paper, envelopes, file folders, and phone books. Commingled recyclables include aluminum cans, metal cans, plastic beverage containers, and glass bottles (green, brown and clear.)
- Prohibited Items: Tampa Bay Trash does not accept flammable or poisonous substance for disposal in dumpsters. You may not bag as trash for pickup any dangerous, flammable, or toxic items. (Please go to our Junk Removal page for safe disposal instructions. Prohibited items include but are not limited to, Latex paint, Flammable liquids (paints, solvents, gas), Used oil and oil filters, Automotive batteries, rechargeable batteries, Propane tanks, Electronics, (computers, TVs), Aerosol cans, Antifreeze, Fluorescent lamps, fire extinguishers, Pesticides and other poisons.
- Ending your service: Requires 30 days notice by phone, 813-447-3608, or e-mail at billing@tampabaytrash.com. Let us know when you plan to vacate your unit and we will gladly stop recurring billing. That way we’ll have 30 days warning and your recurring billing will end when you leave.
- Confirmation Delivery: When signing up for service at Tampa Bay Trash you can expect to receive an e-mail detailing when your trash pickup schedule will be. Your service will begin on the next business day. Text message receipt is not guaranteed.
